Cant get webcam to work on laptop for skype

In order to get help, you need to provide more information than "Cant get webcam to work on laptop for skype". At a minimum, you need to tell us about the type of laptop you are using and the operating system installed.

I assume you are using some version of Windows. Are the webcam drivers installed and working? Can you verify that the webcam itself is functioning properly with other applications?
