Doom 3 CPU performance tweak?

Has anyone else tried this? It supossedly reduces the load to the CPU.

Mobile Barton 2500+ @ 2420mhz 11x220 1.7v
Asus A7N8X Dlx 440 FSB
1gb Geil GD pc3500 Dual Channel (2-3-3-6)
Segata 80gb SATA 8.5ms seek

  3. I tried it last night. I am more concerned with FPS than CPU load, and on my machine is actually made my FPS go down just slightly. Not sure why.

  4. Was posted in the Gfx card section a couple of days ago go read up on it there.Seems like it works for some people but not for others.
