Hi Guys, need a suggestion on a mobile gaming laptop for college..

 

1_What is your budget?

 

$1000 max

 

2_What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?

 

15", 14"or 13"

 

3_What screen resolution do you want?

 

1366x 768 min

 

4_Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?

 

Portable

 

5_How much battery life do you need?

 

Plenty, 5 hours on surfing with WLAN

 

6_Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

7_What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo / Video editing,watching movies, Etc.)

 

A couple of movies, some VM's & programming

Well that Acer notebook looks quite good, it can handle both of those games fine on medium(or high if you lower the resolution)

ASUS G60 is a good choice too(if you can find it in Malaysia)

But it lacks portability, battery life & heavy..

Not to mention only the one with the Core i7 version is only available here.. :o

I think that Acer is the way to go..

Yes G60's battery life isn't very well.
The Acer one can play those games fine on medium settings,so its a good choice
