well I have the choice from 2 different laptops : Dell Inspiron 1545 http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/dell-inspiron-1545-black-... or Dell Inspiron 1546 http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/dell-inspiron-1546-white-... I'm looking for an all rounder laptop, that is fast and also capeable of light gaming. The 1546 beats the 1545 by far, or so it seems. I read reviews of the AMD Turion X2 RM-74 Dual Core Processor to find, that it's either brilliant, or it heats up and slows down alot. While the Intel Pentium Dual Core T4400 Processor is better and has not had many problems. Which weighs it down, making it hard to decide because I'm going to be running my laptop near enough 24/7 and I will be in it for some gaming to (not hardcore). If anybody can check the specs out here and tell me which is a better buy (in mind that I want it for light gaming, effiency and I don't want it to slow down or messup after a couple of years, I intend to keep it for more than 2 years). So any help here is appreciated, thanks. Quick Reply's would help, i'm buying one tomorrow
Out of the two for your type of gaming, I'd shoot for the 1646 due to the better graphics card, i.e. a dedicated one. You can fill out the FAQ thread at the top of the forum and we can perhaps find a more suitable computer for you.
