bsr rx-300 receiver rated 8-16 ohms and i want to connect mtx 4 ohm speakers

hi. i have a bsr rx-300 receiver rated 8-16 ohms and i want to connect mtx 4 ohm speakers to it. the unit says to refer to the manual before doing so but i dont have the manual nor can i find anything online and was hoping that you could possibly help me.

You can connect ONE pair of 4 ohm speakers only. No more than 2 speakers total.
Do not connect a second pair of speakers...
