I currently have a 128MB card in my ZIRE 72 and have all my
applications running from the card, I have a lot of great computer
programs and want to back them up... essentially back up the card and
move it to a 512MB card. Any recommendations on the best way to
undertake this without losing any data from my original card?

A USB SD card reader/writer costs about $20. I'd suggest getting one and
using it to copy everything off the card to a folder on a PC. You can then
copy it from there to another card.
Alternatively, there's a program called PFB that you can install on a Palm
and a Windows PC to make the Palm effectively be a USB SD card drive. You
can find it at:

There's also Softick Card Export II
(http://www.softick.com/cardexport2/), which also lets you access your
SD card from your computer when the Palm is in the HotSync cradle (or
connected by a cable) and you activate the program on the device. You
don't need to install any software on your PC, as long as it can
recognize generic USB Mass Storage devices.

Thank you to both! I've actually installed the demo's of each and am
experimenting now. It looks as though it should be really easy to
transfer my data to the new card when it gets here on Tuesday! 512 MB
here I come!
