Which is the best settings for overclock my cpu?
My system is:
AMD 2400+ @ 2085 (fsb@139)
MSI K7T TURBO 2
2X512MB SDRAM PC133
ATI 9800PRO@420/370
Temp of CPU is cool (37º->50º).
I need more performance in Doom3, but my system is CPU limited.
So, i need to know the best settings (voltage/fsb/multiplicator) for overclock my system.
Thanks.
Your system isn't so much CPU limited as RAM limited. You have lots of it, but its slow. If you put in some PC2700 or PC3200 (DDR333 or DDR400, respectivly), you could get a much higher overclok on your CPU.
Intel P4 2.4B MSI 645E Max-U Mobo 1GB DDR333 ATI R9600XT 128MB SB Live 5.1 Samsung 120GB
Maxtor 120GB LG DVD+-R/RW WIN2K PRO SP4
Recently, in another thread, I overclocked a similar setup and was able to overclock the FSB to 145/2175 Mhz stabily at 46C, and up to 150/2250 at 48C by increasing voltage to 1.7v. This particular system had an Athlon XP 2400+, MSI K7N2-Delta-L mainboard, 1x512 MB generic PC3200 ram, and a generic hybrid copper/aluminum hsf.
I did start to get errors after reaching 150 Mhz FSB, but those were due to the ram. If I had used better ram, I most likely could have done better.
As for your system, I would also recommend better ram, as that seems to be your only real bottleneck.
Hope that helps....

Thanks for this help, but i can´t to install DDR, not supported by the MOBO. Anyway, i will test the OC with 150Mhz FSB, looks cool! I will post my result.
I can´t lock the memory clock. Sure, my SDRAM can´t work at 150 Mhz, and this setting does that the system will not boot (and at this point, need reset by jumper the bios). :_(
Well, thanks guys, i will have to resign oneself.
You may consider purchasing a new motherboard, or if you have enough $$$ for a mobo/cpu/ram combo, you may want to purchase that to further your D3 experience.
Happy hunting!!!
