Hi there, recently I got some DVDs from Hong Kong of my friend. Which all of them are Region 3, I could change my Dvdrom to read it but it has limit of changing the region code. Sometimes I watched Dvd at region 1 and sometimes I switched it to Region 3, after I switched to 3, I saw there's only 2 chance to change it again. I'm using Panasonic 16X dvd rom with PowerDVD 4.0 XP, is there any method or ways to turn it into unlimited switching region code? I think it's a stupid question though but I don't know the answer :). Thanks for anyone that could reply :)

Take a look at this site:

Be very careful when patching the firmware for an optical drive. Using a patch like this can void the warranty, and it can also damage the drive, and cause it to stop functioning ... permanently.
