Hello, I tried starting my Toshiba Satellite A105 this morning and the screen was totally blank. What's weird is that the initial start-up screen with the Toshiba logo appeared (the one that reads press F-12 for set-up menu) and then the screen went completely black. I entered my password for my computer and I heard it start-up, so it seems like everything is working, but the screen. I know it's difficult to diagnose over the internet, but I'm looking to see what the root of this concern can possibly be. If anybody has any insight into what might be going on with my computer I would greatly appreciate some feedback? Thank you kindly.

Try connecting an external monitor and see whether that works.

If it doesn't, try starting the computer in safe mode -- press F8 as Windows starts.
