Pioneer VSX-819H Audio fails on all inputs

I have a 3 yr old Pioneer VSX-819H AV receiver that has worked without any issues. Now suddenly audio cuts off after about 3 minutes, replaced by an increasing static noise on all channels. The noise is present no matter the input, even with all exterior inputs disconnected and only using the fm tuner. If I turn the unit off for a few minutes, normal audio returns but will again cut off after about 3 minutes and return to noise.

I have checked for any visible issues with cords and speaker wire, swapped out input cables, checked the interior for any visible issues. All appears in good order.
