I assume you mean video card drivers, in that case yes moving away from say XP to 7 will require different video card drivers. If you just swapped from Vista, most Vista drivers still work under 7, but in case they aren't; updating them to Windows 7 oriented drivers should fix the issue.

Post what card you have here and we can link you to the proper drivers, or simply google your card model along with the word "drivers" and it's usually the first link.

Don't forget that minecraft also needs Java to run.
