Plugged in not charging dell how can i solved this problem

If the laptop is not charging then the cause can be two things.
1.The battery for the laptop has run out of the ability to hold any charge because it is to old and been charged to many times.
2. The charging circuit of the laptop has broke due to the constant charging cycles of the battery, a component of the motherboard has blown.
Take the laptop to a repair center.
