About Replacing LCD Monitor to LED?

Hello all.. I hope this is the right subforum to ask about this..

Right now, i've an LCD monitor 23" P2350 Samsung and i'm planning to replace it with an 23" monitor too, but maybe with the LED one..

So, what do you think, is it worth it to replace my monitor to LED? or just stay with my current one? Until maybe i have more money to buy the 27" Monitor...

Your opinion is very appreciated...

In my opinion you should wait for the money to buy the 27" one. LED displays are just brighter than LCD ones, thats the only difference, so if you're buying one of the same size as your old one, it won't make much of a difference.

yeah.. actually, i'm thinking the same with you...

and beside, i'm not a gamer anymore.. so maybe i don't need that kind of "powerful monitor" right now...

but, how about others?

Finally I've just bought the LED 27"..

But you're right, IMHO except for the size, there is no major difference between LCD and LED..

Other than the difference in thickness, the only other real benefit off LCD monitors with LED backlight is the lower power consumption.
