Intel Core 2 vs. AMD dual core

I'm planning to buy the Lenovo 13" thinkpad edge. I've having trouble deciding on the processor. Is there a significant difference between the 1.5GHz dual core AMD and the 1.3GHz Intel Core 2 ULV SU7300? From what I seem to have gathered the Intel will give me better battery life and the AMD is a bit faster and better for graphics? Is this accurate? Thanks for any and all advice!

It depends on what you want. If you want portability, i.e. keeping it off of the charger, you'll probably want to go with the Intel. In regard to performance, it isn't a matter of speed that decides performance, but rather a bunch of other factors.
