Small problem and dumb!

This concerns Outlook express. I clicked the "x" on the address box at the lower left of the screen. Of course it shut off viewing the address book there...how in the world does one restore it? I can't find any avenue for putting it back...ughh...I am so dumb my mother put up an "unwanted" poster when I was born!
