Hello im new here :D
I started building my rig a week ago and im confused tnx allot to every1 that will sacrifice precious minutes of his life reading my bad english, anyway I`ve decided I go for the pentium 4 3.4 ghz EE because I want to enjoy the future technolegies that it supports and get the best CPU I can that will use them.
Im looking for a motherboard that will support overclocking, I saw in intel`s website that the CPU is supported by the 925X chipset and Asus`s P5AD2 is probably my only choise for OC according to this articale: http://www.tomshardware.com/motherboard/20040916/index.html
but im not sure I got it right because in futuremark`s hall of fame ( http://www.futuremark.com/community/halloffame/ ) most of the P4 EE are used with another kind of chipset. Is the CPU supported by both chipsets? in that case witch is my best choise for OC? I know the 925X is better featurewise.

Splendid
You are probably talking about the soon to be released socket T, Prescott P4EEs. AFAIK they have not been released yet. The only EEs that are available fit on socket 478, and use a variation of the xeon core. No-one really knows if the P4eEEs are worthwhile yet.

Why dont you consider a Athlon64 ?
Haw can you be future ready when you dont have 64bit ?

Looks like intel spent more on bribing reviewers to cover up it aint that great than they did in R&D.
Tom also has money from intel.
