the first two parts are almost concievable: a 2.4C at 3.6ghz IS possible on that mobo with the right settings and RAM, BUT LOOK AT THE RAM! kingston pc3500?? this has gotta be a mistake. i didnt think there existed ddr that could do fsb300, and now hes claiming to have done with low latency pc3500? i dont think so. somebody plz look into this. and if this memory can really do 300mhz then for the love of god tell me where to get it!
Well, HyperX has come in a lot of flavors over the last two years. A lot of the early sticks used Winbond BH-5 chips that could hit a 275FSB if you could provide 3.2vdc. The recent incarnations or the "A" sticks contain Samsung or Hynix chips and fizzle out long before 230mhz. The latest Version may contain the Super-Samsung chips that perform a lot like the Crucial Ballistix sticks. Those PC3200 sticks can hit a 260FSB or better at 2.8vdc. In short, you'd have to know what chips are on the stick before you could say it's impossible. Getting the board stable, the bridge-chips cooled, and the V-regs cooled would be the larger task at a 300mhz FSB.
