Razer Megalodon - Not Detected

So yesterday I got home from a christmas party, logged on and went to go play some BF3 with some friends only to find out that my headset was not working. I tried unplugging and replugging it back in and it did not do anything. This was all using back USB ports, of course, because who wants a headset USB plug coming out of the front of their computer that they painstakingly spent hours organizing the cable management on. So I unplug it and, just for fun, plug it into one of the front panel USB plugs on my computer... it works well.

So now I'm confused, I do not know what's wrong with this damned thing. My mouse and keyboard both work and they're plugged into the back panel USB ports on my computer so there's nothing wrong with the USB ports themselves. Anyone have any suggestions?
