I bought this monitor on newegg to replace my old 19in acer. However, I did this without heeding the reviews about how much of a pain it is to get a good picture and as it turns out I should have. Literally everything is blurry,i.e, text, movies,games,etc. I have spent almost all evening trying to figure this out but I have calc quiz tomorrow so I turned to the only resource I really trust about computers. Please help me I cannot for the life of me get this thing to look even halfway decent.

Hello,

The results depends heavily on your adaptor configuration and video modes.
For a quick tip, configure your hdmi port on monitor with the name "DVI PC", under source list / edit names, and let the defaults - the image will just pop. If you want more control (the brightness can be awful) just disable the magicbright feature.
