Installed Windows 7 Home Premium on Desktop and Laptop. Enabled 'Remote Desktop' on Desktop and when i go to connect from Laptop it says "Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer for one of the following reasons..." found one 'tip' tht said Remote Desktop works on Ultimate or Pro only!

Remote Desktop does not connect to Windows 7 Home Premium ?
And why can it be enabled in Windows 7 Home Premium if it won't allow connections?

I'll try enabling it on my laptop and get back to you... I know I can remote into my desktop (which is Win 7 Pro) with my laptop (Home Premium)... but I haven't tried it the other way. In order for it to work, you MUST have a password on the account you're using to log in.

Good

From Microsoft website:
Which editions of Windows 7 include Remote Desktop Connection?
All editions of Windows 7 include Remote Desktop Connection.
•You can use Remote Desktop to initiate a connection from any edition of Windows 7.
•You can connect to computers running Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, or Windows 7 Enterprise.
•You can't use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to computers running Windows 7 Starter, Windows 7 Home Basic, or Windows 7 Home Premium.
This last point says it....

And I figur it can be enabled for Desktop Assistance...
