i'm gonna have to say AMD atm. because they make products that fit my needs and demands right now. Not marketing BS. I don't want to pay for intel sponsorship anymore. most of intel's money goes to Dell ads and commercials. Like DDR2, and netburst has a wall. That direction will lead to a dead end. While AMD A64 has 64-bit potential and much more room to grow based on that architecture. Dual cores will even boost AMD even more. Dothan's are the only good intel chip atm, but they aren't even released for desktop yet, and is still using slower 100mhz fsb and DDR333. The P4 EE is rediculously priced, and still loses to A64 in many gaming applications. When you pay for Intel, You pay for overhead. It's like buying something from compusa. the stuff is $100 more for the same thing!
