I have a x800 pro athlon 64 3400+ the asus k8v deluxe 1 gig of cosair xms and a raptor drive. Is there any reason for any of my hardware to be upgraded for new games or am i sitting solid. Is it a kickass system or just solid?

Theres always someone with a faster computer, no matter what you do, there will always be something faster. Your systems is a lot more than what many are using for gaming machines, so I would say you are fine for about a year, or so.
