Hello,
how can i test my microphone

Click on the start button, control panel, sound, recording and you see the bar going up went you speak.

Go to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sounds > Sounds > Recording

Then select the device and see if it is connected properly -- you should be able to see green bars, if it is working.

You also can use recording sound feature in Windows. Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > Sound Recorder. Then you can test your microphone.
