Audio devices

when i go to control panel and click on sound and devices, it says no audio devices, what does that mean? my sound on my computer was working perfectly yesterday, i havnt got a clue. please help

Go back to sounds and devices and open the hardware tab. look for audio devices.
If there is one there click on it. what do you see is it enabled or disabled.?
If its disabled, right click on my computer and open manage,device manager,look under sound video and game controllers for your sound device. enable or reinstall drivers.
