picture quality of my zone connection

I have bought a new computer and the picture of my zone
room is terrible ugly little characters with a black
background. My old computer had clear characters with a
bright blue background. I have tried every thing I can
think of like changing my settings etc. Hope you can
help me. Thanks Poodie
