Talkin bout the a64s. Although the speeds are different on the cpu chips, Im wondering how much difference the fact that the 2800, 3000, and 3200 have 512kb L2 and the 3400 has 1mb

A chip with 512k to match perf with the 3400 would be called a 3333. The nice thing about clawhammers is that they OC a bit better, so you can usually get better overall perf.

so youre saying i should just spend a lil more and get the 3400?

I bought the 3200. If I had to do it today, I would buy the 3200. True, the 3400 would be about 6% faster, but it's a lot more money.
