Laptop: which Asus laptop is better?

planning to buy a new laptop

Asus K52jk or K42kj?

Something thats bugging me is I don't know howl long is the battery life of the two laptop. And it does not have the Super Hybrid Engine(kind of a utility of asus that they said can give you better battery life by increasing the work only when needed). It only has the power4gear hybrid.

does these utilities really helps? any idea on the battery life on these models? btw, pertaining to 6-cell battery.

It all depends on what you want to do with the laptop. If you game, either one will probably suffice (even though I cannot find the K42kj- is it the correct model number?). In regard to the utility, it probably doesn't make a whole lot of difference. Perhaps you'll get 20-30 more minutes of battery life.
