Well I saw a promo on T.V for some new movie with a black guy vigilante type , ? What protecting the President in the White House or something ? I only saw a blurb about the movie trailer but one thing popped into my head right away.

Ice Cube plays XxX this time round, Vin Diesel wanted nothing to do with it apparantly. Don't blame him, the first one was a crock of shite.

i like him in pitch black and chronicles of riddick. fast and furious was pretty lame but mildly entertaining, if you believe nos will affect your top speed.

I can only think Ice Cube is desperate for the money. For every good movie he does (Boyz n the hood, Trespass, Barbershop), he goes and does 10 tonne piles of shite like Anaconda, Are We There Yet and now this pantys effort.

agreed hes not that bad of an actor with the correct part but i think he signs up for some and doesnt realize how crappy the plot is.

Yup. He sees the $$$, not the script. In a few years he'll be in the dreaded "straight to video" section, or, even worse he'll start doing the TV movies.

the sad thing is, this movie will suck terribly, but it will have billions of dollars invested into special effects and motorcycles and crap. therefore it will make tons of money, it might even be on the top of the box office list for a while. but that doesnt mean its worth anything.
