Acer Laptops comparison for the money

acer series v-120 (I think 5250-1513) vs acer 7741z-5731...v120 can get for $298, other $498...Is it worth the extra $200?? Both exp to 8gig, v120 I think has a better video card radeon 4250 vs intel hd on the other. processor however is amd for v120 n pentium for 7741...what would u do? want to play a few games, burn dvd's and just surf and email.

The 4250 is indeed a better GPU than the intel gma graphics, but I guess it depends on what you want to do with it that will decide which is better for you, i.e. gaming, casual use, etc...

Thanks! What I am interested in is some gaming and casual use. email surfing and ripping cd n dvds. I know that both are not really gaming laptops, but any of the two, its cheaper than buying a gaming laptop. So I am looking for the best deal with the above type use and the fact that the Acer v-120 with the 4250 is or is not worth getting over the Acer 7741z-5731, which is not as a gooda vid card, but $200 more. So what do you think now...very appreciative

by the way aside of what I said, the chips are amd 2gig for the $298 and the other is an Intel pentium 3gig to start but they both go up to 8gig
