I m confused

Guys, i hav a samsung syncmaster 933 which has no hdmi output but it says "RGB IN" and my graphics card 1 gb has hdmi point. Is there anyway by which I can connect these two points

Old pc monitors are normally vga ports. There are adapters out there for pretty much any transition.

but i hav a LCD monitor and it has one port it says "RGB IN" is it similar to VGA? if no wats the diffrence and i hav a VGA to HDMI cable. I attached VGA side to LCD monitor and HDMI to graphics card. The monitor is not recognizing and telling that check cable
pls help ((

check the input channel on your monitor. perhaps you need to scan through them.
