Does XP64bit run faster?

Im considering getting the Beta Windows Professional XP-64bit. Will it run faster than the normal XP(home edition)? Will games run faster?

Or should I just stay with XP HomeX32

No, I read a review w/ benchmarks for the 64-bit Windows and they don't live up to the 32-bit version. When you hear 'Beta' and 'Microsoft' in the same sentence, just don't do it.

I have it on my machine , and even if it is beta, it is stable enough.But not all drivers are ported to, so you just cannot use it for everyday task.

-Always put the blame on you first, then on the hardware !!!

64 bit OS will run same bit apps faster, but 32 bit apps run slower.
