The original one at CAX was for sale, but only a ? for price. Anyone
know what the seller was asking or if it sold?

They will never be in the hands of people who sell retail, that's for sure,
if your looking for a CAP machine.

I know aperson that has one in Southern Califonia. He would be looking
for big money for the Game.

But I doubt he'd sell it!

Not for sale most likely, but you've heard the rumblings of 10K or more!

Have you played one?

Yawn.....

I played the one at CAX for the last couple of years and I just don't get
it. It was very dirty this year and in need of a shop. Of course I didn't
get TZ at first and now its my favorite in my collection. :)

I just don't see the big thrill, other than being rare.

I'd personally rather have a CC or MM.

it's funny that you guys think it will just double in value right off
the bat. it will be interesting to see how many were bought just to try
and make a quick buck ;-)

cc is definately better than bbb in MANY aspects, (did i just say that?
;-) but remeber, bbb isn't even one of the 2 best capcom pins out
there.

Yea,
I also played the Kingpin at CAX and it seemed to have a better flow. Just
as rare if not more....
what am I missing?

well, most people are going off the hype. kp and pm are definately the
better games.

bbb will get put through the ringer once a lot of people get a chance
to play it. you will get those people though that play someone elses
bbb and tell them it is the cats meow, but when they leave will be
telling themselves, MAN, I WOULD RATHER HAVE A 3K WMS PIN OR A 4K SETRN
PIN OVER THAT GAME ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. it's kinda like the ol' all
babies are beautiful thing from that seinfeld episode, bbb imho is that
ugly baby no-one has spoken up on yet ;-)

It's definitely a cool looking game, with a fun theme, but the gameplay
is only so-so. I certainly wouldn't trade my CC for one, original or
remake, but it is a decent game. BTW, the grapevine said that $15K for
the one at CAX was turned down!!

being turned down.

You are right. I have no idea if he would consider selling the game. He
is the only person I have ever heard of having one.

Kingpin is a better game in timed play mode honestly (at least in my
opinion) and much more family friendly . . .
I hope BBB goes well so Kingpin becomes a reality :) . . .

maybe.
i like the theme and toys and the colors.
didn't play the one at expo last year and really that matters most.
it looks amazing but i'll withhold my opinion until i've spent some time on
one.

You will need some deep pockets, only because most of the collectors I know
who own them, don't really need the cash.
Only a really insane offer exceeding $15k-20k might even slightly raise
their eyebrows.

Were you not here two years ago when people *were* offering $25k and *not*
raising eyebrows? It's gonna take more than that.

Doesn't matter. Even if they *are* done, they're repros, not original.
The simple fact that they have cabinet decals and the originals are
screened will make it brain dead easy to tell the two apart and thus help
retain the value of the originals (not to mention any other differences of
significance, and there will be some).
