My webcam C250 encountered a problem

Hello, i have a webcam C250, i have downloaded it twice now. when i open it there is only a black screen, if i click take a quick capture a message comes up saying it has encountered a problem and needs to close. can someone please help me oh im running windows xp

have you downloaded the right driver, you know the windows XP drivers?

Run the program as administrator, might solve the problem.
