How do I restore factory settings on an Acer laptop with Windows 7?

In windows, click on Start and select Acer folder. There is an app (Acer Management, I think) that will restore back to factory state.

Outside windows: reboot and press ALT-F10 (or just F10) to bring up the app.

You will lose all your data!!!! So BACKUP before doing the restore.

The Recovery Partition is a space reserved on your hard disk drive used to restore the operating system, drivers and utilities installed on your laptop. It is typically accessed via the function keys or F9 for example.
