Is this cpu/mobo combo deal worth it? $300 just seems too good to pass up, imo. The mobo has all the features I want, dual channel ram support, onboard lan and sound, etc. And the processor alone is going for $300 at newegg. Now my question is, does the rebate have to be postmarked by Oct 31, or do I just have to purchase before the 31st? Thanks for any insights or advice.

Looks like a good deal to me. As far as I know, you just have to PURCHASE it before the 31 of October.
