3500+ stepping

I'm buying a 3500+ this weekend. One store has em at 347 the other at 299. The latter will be fresh cpu's after AMD's recent price drop will these be 90nm?? And would these be better for overclocking. The other store I don't know what they have but I would like to know if there are different steppings for the 3500+ apart from the 90nm version. I'll also be getting either a MSI K8N NEO2 Platinum or an Asus A8V mobo any recommendations on this???

All input, experiences or knowledge is welcome.

I would also like to know which revision I should have for the mobo. I know it should be 2.0 for the A8V but the MSI had some issues aswell so which version is fully functional here?
