In win2k. Just Installed a new mainboard and chip, installed windows, butwhen I goto windows update site it scans and then says no updates available when there obviously should be. Swapped out every part other then the board and chip and same result after fresh install. MB is a KR7A if it matters, but I have an almost identical setup and it works fine, BAH!
Anyone have a clue?

That's odd. Man, you're good! :lol:

I guess try a repair or something. Boot with your Windows 2K CD.

Turns out I was an idiot (or Microsoft was =) The Clock was set a month behind, fixed it and it works fine. I know clock settings are important but no updates if your a month off? Friggin Microshaft......

Month behind now? I'm not sure what you mean, but I'm glad ya found it! I would've <b>never</b> thought of that. :lol:
