My BK2K has had a few parts stolen over it's lifetime - not enough to
stop it working but enough to notice. For example the test report said
to check the right outlane switch. Well, if there was one there I'd
check it! Anyway, mostly all sorted now but one question. One of the
flipper mechanisms has had the capacitor removed. Doesn't seem to
affect the play at all - is it OK to leave it missing or am I likely to
store up trouble somewhere, and if so what?

thanks
Mark

Mine did not have them. They reduce sparking, and extend the EOS life, but
(and I am no expert) I thinnk that's it. You may see shortened EOS life,
but my EOS switches lasted 3 years with fairly heavy home use.
