So, my setup is the following
Card: Radeon HD5850
Screen1: Flatron E2380
Screen2: Flatron L1919S

OC settings via overdrive
GPU clock: 810MHz
Mem clock: 1175MHz

After I did some small overclocking to my card, through vision engine control center, my screen2 started odd flickering.
Before I bought my screen1 and overclocked, there was no problem what so ever when OCing. And the flickering isnt even there all the time after I tried it when I had screen1 installed. (Like yesterday, my screen didnt have any particular flickering after I OC'd and played games for a bit)

I figured it had something to do with VGA being used at the same time with DVI, but that seems just illogical.
Maybe my screen2 is simply dying?

(I didnt know if I should put this to OC, graphics or peripherals forum, but I decided to put it here because it seemed like a monitor problem)

What happens when you set the HD 5850 back to stock speed?

I would say it is an issue with the video card simply becuase of the fact you are overclocking it which put more stress on the GPU and memory.
