Hi,
I need to buy a CD drive. Which one should I get ? Whats the difference between a CD and CDRW and DVD and DVDRW. Its all so confusing. Hope people here are not as ignorant as the graphics section. Please keep answer short.
Thanks.
CD-ROM: Reads CD
CD-RW: Reads CD and writes CD
DVD-ROM: Reads CD, DVD
CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo: Reads CD, DVD and writes CD
DVDRW: Reads CD, DVD and writes CD, DVD

Why would anybody need a CDRW or a DVDRW, because I can write on a CD or DVD with a pen or pencil. Why waste money to buy a machine to write on it ? So basically I think I need a CD drive and I can do all things I want.

No one could possibly be this stupid. Either you're pretending to be an idiot or you really are an idiot. My take is that you really are an idiot, but you're just posting idiotic statements such as the above in some lame attempt to piss people off.
