Creating a seat for P4 cpu 478 to be on 775 socket. what do u think, is it possible ?

If I have a 478 cpu and mobo and all, why should i buy a new cpu if i want pciX, if there would be some sort of a way to seat 478 cpu to a 775 socket that would be very cool.

how come no one thout about that ?

turn off your pc when u meditate , the vibes will get in your way !

You've got it switched around...normally the socket adaptors are made with upgrading older systems in mind. It's still a bit early to see something for 775 to 478 already, but I'm sure someone's working on it. If you're gonna spend all that money on a new mobo, RAM, and a PCI-E video card, may as well spring for a new CPU, too!
