Audio problem

Hello,I connected a vga to hdmi with audio adapter to HP2000 notebook pc, the video is great but no audio. The adapter works fine on another laptop.

VGA connector does not carry audio signals.
You have to use audio patch cords to the VGA monitor audio inputs.
