  1. I'm not sure I understand. Let me try to piece this together.

So you have it hooked up but the image basically looks like crap right now. So your trying to make it HD by setting it as 720p or 1080p. Am I following this correctly?

If that's the case then you may have an overscan issue. Check out this thread:

If that's not your problem, feel free to ask.

  2. No its not that, it just doesn't look as ''colorful or amazing'' as i thought it would or should.

I have a Dvi to HDMI cable - Dvi in the gpu, HDMI in the tv.

Turn it on nothing has changed.... looks the same as vga.

the overdrive is just to span the size to fit the screen right?

when i set it to 720p 25hz 30hz 50...60 no change i have tried 14 different cables and the tv is brand new as in 3 days old and works fine in 1080p/720p on my ps3

i'm lost on what to do.
  3. Hey does this seem to be your problem?

    http://www.techimo.com/forum/graphics-cards-displays/237845-lcd-tv-resolution.html

If that's the case it could a problem with the OS not recognizing the TV properly. It seems like Baird might be a rather obscure manufacturer.

Wish I could be of more help but I can't offer anymore advice on the issue as I've never used or even seen a Baird TV before.
