I have a quick question regarding which drivers I should install. My mobo's (Gigabyte GA-8IEXP) got onboard Promise ATA133/RAID controller, and I connected two HDDs to the controller via IDE3/4 to function as RAID 0 array. Should I install just the RAID driver that came with the mobo? Or should I install both RAID and ATA133 drivers in order to take the full advantange of the controller?

Thanks
Eddy

You should install both. There's no reason not to, and no advantage in not installing both.

I just used the RAID driver when first installing Windows XP. Windows sees it as a SCSI device. Have you installed both drivers? (ATA133 and RAID) If so, how did it go? Did you use the ones from the Gigabyte website, or from your CD?
