WINDOWS 7 or XP for Dell GX280

Hello,

I installed Windows7 into my DELL GX280. And used few months. But, it didn't show the CD/DVD Rom drive. I couldn't find any drivers or I couldn't solve it. Initially I couldn't find Windows 7 drivers for video & Audio. So, I add VGA card and got it solved.
Now I want to remove windows 7 and re-install Windows XP since I feel it's better to reinstall XP since my PC is not made for Win-7.

I cannot do much without the CD/DVD rom.
Pls help me to find a solution to have CD/DVD rom in WIndows 7 or reinstall Windows XP.

You don't need drivers for an ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive.
- Put disc in
- Boot PC from disc
- Install OS

If the drive isn't detected when the PC is powered on then replace your CD/DVD drive, they cost what, $25 now?
