Hi,
This is Rameshwar, I want to know how to create the batch file and execute it automatically in DOS, and what are the advantages of batch file.

Command line administration

open note pad
NETDOM /Domain:MYDOMAIN /user:adminuser /password:apassword MEMBER
MYCOMPUTER /JOINDOMAIN
save with a .bat file extention
(replace MYDOMAIN with the name of the domain and MYCOMPUTER with the name of the workstation. replace adminuser with a user with you domain admin credentials and replace apassword with the users password)
