First, verify your connections. ADAT (Optical) OUT from the ADA8000 to the Digidesign 002's ADAT (Optical) IN for inputs. For Outputs, ADAT (Optical) IN from the ADA8000 to the Digidesign 002's ADAT (Optical) OUT.
