Hi everyone,

I am looking for a high end gaming headset. Ive found a few headsets that Im currently deciding over. The ones i chose are pretty pricey but i dont mind paying for a top of the line/quality headset (comfort & amazing sound quality) for FPS/MMO/RPG gaming & watching movies.

These are the ones i chose:
http://www.amazon.com/HiFiMAN-HE-400-Planar-Efficiency-... (1st choice)

I read the reviews here: http://www.head-fi.org/t/593050/the-nameless-guide-to-p...

And these two gaming headsets that are advertised everywhere to be the best (supposebly).

http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2407651,00.asp#dis... ( i do like the wireless function on this & the stand that comes with it )

The only thing im worry about is if my computer will be compatibile & support surround gaming. Here are my specs:

CPU: i5-2500k (not important but whaevers)
Mobo: MSI Z77 MPOWER ATX LGA1155
Sound Card: Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD 24-bit 96 KHz
Speakers: Sony SRS-A3 External PC Speakers

Any help would be appreciated! Im buying it as soon as possible! :)

The mobo supports up to 7.1 channells so no problem.

I would recommend the Astro 50s because they come with the mixamp.
