Windows Startup Repair can't automatically fix the problem

Hello, after i upgrage my laptop from win7 home permium to win7 ultimate during setup my system suddenly pop up saying "window fail to start. a recent hardware or software might be the cause."
and below i got only two option lunch startup repair(recommended) and start windows normally i tried windows start normally but just page come and then get restart and then i tried startup repair but it failed saying "Windows Startup Repair can't automatically fix the problem" i even try to install win 7 newly but boot dont read it... please help me

I recently had an experience with this with a relatives computer. I tried booting with the disk as well and running the repair and it wasn't able to fix it. I ended up having to reinstall windows.

Booting from the Windows install disk does give you the option to use restore points though so if it finds some on there then you might be ok (the computer I was working with had no restore points).

Hi :) 

The illegal Ultimate download comes with a rather neat set of viruses that can cause this...

If A LEGAL copy then as said...boot from the DVD...
