I had no issues with anything until i tried to uninstall the vista 64 ATI drivers so i could install the ATI win 7 beta drivers. They wont uninstall. The install manager gets stuck half way and i could not get it to uninstall. Hosed my ati drivers up good. I had to reinstall Win 7. Dont you love betas. I am ok with it, i knew what i was getting into. I submitted feedback maybe they are listening.

anyone else having any trouble with ATI drivers?

I had xp 32 bit before. So i am a bit lost on cleaning drivers for a vista like 64 bit OS.

Any suggestions on what to do if i have this again?

thanks

I didn't have any trouble loading drivers for my 9550, but then again I was using the 32bit version.

Try Clean Sweep or CC Cleaner - they both work on Vista, so they should work on 7.

on xp 32 i would:

1. uninstall the ATI drivers

2. boot safe mode

3. run driver cleaner pro

4. delete all files in prefetch

5. reboot install new driver.

Do you think 7 is the same way with the 2 cleaner you posted? Because at this point i can't uninstall the old drivers.
